The Mods and Admins have just decided to rationalize some of the sub-forums. Given some of the overlap between Toronto Issues and the main Politics sub-forum, the posts there will be moved into Toronto Issues or Politics and Diplomacy.
An admin (Ed007 or BillyCorgan) can only change the subforum names and descriptions, but this will be done soon to better reflect the changes.
Here are the criteria for assigning the threads:
- If it is a GTA "City Hall" issue, it goes into Toronto Issues. Provincial or federal politics issues with direct impact on Toronto (such as OMB, Places to Grow-type legislation, "One Cent/Cities Now", etc), will go to Toronto Issues.
- More provincial matters - ie Catholic School debates, talk about MPPs or non-municipal legislation, will go into Politics and Diplomacy and join Federal and International political topics.
I volunteered to work on this, but I won't start for a few days.
