I'm sure it will still look nice from street level looking up, just a lot more subtle. I'm glad they are painting the balconies on Lago atleast that won't be subtle.

They only are because there's nothing in place that encourages thermal breaks installed in the floor slab.

Yeah, I don't get ths building. Go through all the steps building a curvy floor slab and then clad it in something that is nearly invisible.
 
Fritted glass on the balconies would have actually made the curves pop. Such stupidity.
 
So the colour of the spandrel just doesn't work with the windows, but there are some angles, mostly acute ones, where this building really shines when the sun's out. I'll build up to those, starting from the west and moving around:

Wow those last few are really nice. Makes me happy to see that it wasn't a waste, that from certain places it still looks amazing.

Honestly Aqua in Chicago is like this. From most places in the city it looks extremely underwhelming but from acute angles it is stunning.

This really was a no-brainer: install jade coloured balcony glass. Why be so discrete here to not call attention to itself? Doesn't make any sense.
 
Totally agree on this one. The balcony glass is a complete waste on this one. Why even put in those waves if you're going to put in glass that ignores it?
