I couldn't look in the hole to see exactly what they were doing, but I'm pretty sure they were pumping concrete for the base of the crane today.

They put in the crane base and a gigantic rebar mat over the last week or so, so I guess now that they've poured the base we should be seeing a crane over the weekend?

My that looks so unsafe that last picture. Im sure its very safe but, it sure plays tricks on the eyes. Would Make for great painting from the right angle! Thanks for the Photos someMidTowner.

I suspect someone stumbled onto UT and realized "Holy cow that steel beam still looks really bent!"
If that's not the case then it just seems the contractors have a reason for taking it slower. Ground movement? engineering changes?
Everything has been slow this very cold winter. Everything.
