Karma lost part of the crane today and the rest should be gone by Sat night.

If you look close at the last photo above, you will see the jib about to take the boom down.

Stop by tomorrow to see the rest come down or go to Casa II to see its crane come down
 
The extrusion looks pretty bad. I'd say it's simply the builder wanting more square footage, higher up, to make more money.

They did this same thing with a tower in London, England, and people were pretty bothered by it.

I actually like it. It's simple and is probably making the developer a lot of money too, but I think it plays off the building next to it well.
 
I don't really care for it. It doesn't go far enough. Make it 3 times as deep. Has everything to do with throwing more density on the site. With it being higher up is just a bonus. The east side is not bad for a wall of window wall. Too bad it will be completely hidden by spandrel garbage unless the team of Canderel Stoneridge and Graziani+ Corazza totally blows our minds.
