This is a nice addition to the area with heritage podium restoration, it will stand out. A 1 bed, bath condo is now worth around $1000 per sq/ft in this area.

I think this is a wasted opportunity for such a prime location.
This looks like its going to be heavily spandrelated as well.
The only thing I'm happy about this project is the prospect that they will simplify the power lines, like many of the new condos in the area.

For those of you who don't live in Toronto and you want to see the site of this development, go to 2:50 in the video

Poor boxes. No respect.

A value engineered version of the first one was built in Montreal. Enjoy.

Interesting, which development was that? Personally I was completely on board the first iteration if it were to have been built with proper curtain wall. I think it would have been quite nice, and a sort of centrepiece for the area. Would it have last-ability? Maybe, maybe not, but it would have been at least something to nullify the dullness felt when looking at what has gone up here since, something which I don't think the 2nd (or current) iterations accomplish or would have accomplished if built.
