Though blaming aA might be incorrect, as it's likely the builders, they have had a bad streak as of late. A bunch of their designs have been built with half-assed/compromised mechanicals that definitely look worse than rendered.

I hope they keep the red mechanical. If so this could possibly look better than Theatre Park. Yeah I said it.

The success of the design depends on how the mechanical box will be finished. At this point, it looks heavy like the rather ugly mechanical box at Clear Spirit. Considering Theatre Park and U Condos, several recent aA projects have had subpar or downright ugly mechanical boxes. Even Peter Street Condos has a somewhat lazy arrangement of white vertical panels along the roof line.

Hope not too many people bought on the basis on the local pool hall. We have an annual event at the Charlotte Rooms but they lost their lease :(

It's going to have to be something architectural to overcome the proportions. It can't just be an anonymous box clad in opaque panels.

The form appears to be true to the renders so far, so what really remains to be seen is the appearance of the red. The cladding has been well executed so far, so hopefully there will be no repeat of the embarrassment over at Theatre Park.
