I am glad you like the pictures and thank you for asking. In general I am okay with the free reuse of my pictures as long as it is non-commercial and I get credited. Since you would want to use them for a commercial purpose we would have to come to a different agreement. If you are still interested let's discuss offline.

Shots like those make you appreciate how much L tower adds to the skyline. Oxford Place will even further add to the architectural styles that'll be visible in that pic. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe that view is future proof!

this is OT but I really do dislike (Market Wharf?) or whatever that new building is in the distillery. It's a bland building box, and what kills it for me is it sticks out on the skyline as a wasted opportunity. Anything would have helped (slanted roof, setbacks. etc...). Leaves much to be desired :(

I agree. I really dislike that building as well, but since it is designed by aA, they can get away with it while being applauded for having great "attention to detail." I'm not gonna lie, the attention to detail is fantastic, and the podium is easily one of the best to go up recently. However, the tower design is subpar (even by Cityplace standards). By the way, that's St. Lawrence, not the Distillery District. Razz's photos is actually from one of the towers in the distillery district, and as you can see, it is few blocks East of Market Wharf.

P.S. SMTer, what would this forum be without your wonderful photos? Thank you for the massive update today. Your photos are top notch as always :)

I'm assuming the cab was cold when you took this, how can you see anything? Does it take long to heat up?, but what a view! You always have the best shots, then again, not many of us get to be in the cranes cab! Lol! The L Tower is such a unique and prominent icon of our new skyline, looks amazing from every angle, my favourite being sitting at the stop lights facing north on lower Jarvis (just before going under the Gardiner). Just look up to your left, it looks massive, it adds so much to the skyline from that point of view, the architect is a genius! Compared to many other towers, it's really not that tall, but because of it's unique location and design, it looks so much bigger then it really is, anyone else notice that? ;)
 
It doesn’t really get warm when it’s windy, just tolerable. The glass was clear enough to work after about 20 minutes this morning but nobody was left on top by then. Thanks for posting that frosty pic Udo, it was an information picture when it went out. You made it look nice.

Obviously I have to agree with Hanlansboy that the view from the crane is quite nice but I also agree that the L Tower is a player on the downtown skyline. It is middle of the pack when it comes to height but it combines” it’s unique location and design” to cheat the eye a little and stand out from the crowd. Maybe I can find a feather shaped like it someday.

Thank you for your email, and sorry for the delay in relying. I have asked the client and they will decide whether they would like to use them. I have mentioned there will be a fee involved. Can you tell me whether it is a one off fee? Im not sure how much they are willing to pay if they are interested

The boot portion of the building reminds me of the set designs from the silent movie "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari".
