Great pics, thank you! Makes you realize the potential of the area. Lots of single family homes on their way out to make way for new development. Hopefully city and province come up with a plan to develop this area starting with a new hospital.

This process of community consultation focused on this one project is extremely flawed. Let’s be honest, many more buildings/projects of compatible size are coming to this area. Individual Project by project analysis at this stage while asking a community to undergo unknown intense change is horrible planning and bad politics. The province has designated this a TOC, therefore we need to be talking about transforming this entire community within the 800 m radius of the station first and then focus on individual projects. How many people does the province want to bring in to this community? Based on that let’s figure out Schools, community centers, hospital, parks, green spaces, roads/traffic management, replacing 70 year old infrastructure, ect. Then let’s analyze these individual projects.
