Whoa, they are already painting the peeling siding only after a few months of installation?!!!
This building is so underwhelming, I can’t believe Quadrangle designed this (or maybe they were just hired to do the working drawings). It looks like an aging utility building.
I see this stinky carbuncle practically every day. It's unimaginably bad. Had they mastered the cladding it would still look like a spartan econobox of a building, but at least it would have been a tidy one.
I don't believe Quadrangle are in charge of this current design. They were the previous architect of record for the original concept that is shown in the UT database profile. What we're seeing here is likely just some amateur level no name firm, and being executed by an equally inept builder.
This project has also taken a remarkably long time to execute. Either they have substantial capitalization problems or the project is simply badly mismanaged. As it stands, it's been a bleakly comical series of cascading missteps.
I question the longevity of that painted finish on that prematurely failing siding.
Even pre-finished Hardy Board from Home Depot would have been a much better choice.
