I'm curious why the shape of the leaves are the same as the leaf on the Canadian flag, but not the same as the Leafs' logo. I'd imagine the "Toronto leaf" shape would be more appropriate.

legality? i know it's a joint venture with mlse, but did they negotiate branding?

What is the building under construction, at ground level, in the foreground of Maple Leaf & Telus in Drum118's excellent series of photos Aug 14-15. Its his 8th photo I refer to.

I believe it is 18 York Street, the new PriceWaterhouseCoopers building, which is being constructed at light-speed.

I cannot say I am overly impressed by the concrete maple leafs in the sidewalk - I think what would have worked much better would have been a variety of sizes of the leaf's, not just one leaf copied and tiled all over the damned place..Also, can we expect any paving besides the usual concrete and asphalt on this space? Will it be of a higher quality material hopefully?

Isn't it inappropriate to use the hockey team's leaf, when the Raptors also play at ACC? Unless they have raptor-shaped cutouts on the sidewalks.
