Who is "they"? Enforce stricter rules how? You mean the City? It has not been given the power by the provincial government to regulate architecture in regards to exterior expression, it can only regulate based on performance essentially, eg non-combustible, thermal properties.Are they transforming Yorkville into glass central now? Who’s overseeing these projects? Y don’t they enforce stricter rules on design. Keep a balance. They’re all glass. How about some stone, brick, whatever...... The Hazelton and stern’s buildings come to mind as building to emulate.
