Great photos of the progress ...
Looking like there's a slight chance they'll make it on the first scheduled delay

23 August 2012: I am curious--are they wrapping the pillars in red brick cladding like Wallman's Yards at Fort York? If so that would really improve the appearance of this very business like (read: conservative) development. It's not ugly though--a huge relief!

Thanks for the pics, UD. This building really filled a gap and King west has a streetwall of almost Continental European dimensions. Too bad, like a lot of things in Toronto, that it's ruined by wooden hydro poles. I dunno. Don't condo owners on the 5th floor get upset about staring at a 25 kilovolt transmission line barely a meter from their balcony? Why can't NIMBYs obsess over things like this, instead of ruining public transit projects, tilting at windmills and screaming about architecturally-designed towers being too tall?

Good chance those lines are not in use. Eventually, they will be addressed along with the hundreds of loped off poles around the city. There is just too much going on and overhead wiring isn't a priority. (probably due to cost)
