wow, they're finally clearing the land to the west of this? the foreground in your last pic used to be fenced off and just a wild jungle in there. I lived at NXT for 3 years and it was blocked the entire time i was there.

Yes, it's largely cleared and "No Trespassing" signs are up across the lot that will eventually be home to this: https://urbantoronto.ca/database/projects/2002-lake-shore-west. There appeared to be water main / drainage work being done earlier this spring.

This is why I like the cream precast columns etc mixed in with dark glaze windows! It visually pops out from the other all glass towers beside it from far away . As seen in the photos up above.
