Is this project progressing slowly?

"A picture's worth..." Imagine even getting to grade on this site. Suffice to say things will likely speed up.

Dude, Toronto is no longer about livibility, it's about profitability (for global hedge funds). If you're not with the program then go to some loser, livable city.
Besides, think of the skyline! The all-important skyline!
9.9/10 of internet skyline lookers will tell you how important the skyline is in regards the overall attractiveness of living in any given city!
Even though they can't actually see the skyline of the city they're living in without looking at it through skyline pictures on the internet..
Haha! Looking at the hundreds of neighbouring units that are going to have little to no natural light is concerning. The planning department is a complete joke.

The City (the Planning Department) fought this, saying that Mercer wasn't the right street for such dense development. They don't have final say, however, which typically rests with the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (and which was at the time of this development the OMB) when developers want to fight the City's position. There are now stricter guidelines in place to provide more space between buildings, but developments of this size take years to be realized, so it will be some time before all construction reflects the reality of current policy.

Can't wait to see this building rise above the podium towards the tower section. Then watch the developers attach the curtain walls up. Let's make this a supertall instead of Mirvish's supertall towers.
