Now that this area is starting to clean up, is there any chance the Armoury might ever move? It creates such a dead zone with its iron fences and inaccessibility. Plus it's a huge lot, think of what could fit in there
I hope so but I don't see it happening anytime soon. :(

That spandrel on the 4th floor is such a massive error. Why add that element to the design?

I was just coming here to post that same comment, as I just drove by it. It looks terrible! I love the paneling they are using on the West side. I don't understand why they went with spandrel on that single floor...

It's not very fancy but it's definitely a positive addition to the neighbourhood.

The back of O2 from a Jarvis Street rooftop from a couple of days ago. Signs that no-one has moved in yet: no curtains, nothing on the balconies.

I liked this one a fair bit during most of its construction, but I think they made some poor choices in the end. The brick I think would have been better as the gray they showed in the renders, and that toothpaste mint white spandrel... not so nice, especially with red brick. Over all I think its good for the area though, not too intrusive, decent scale, and a little freshness at probably the bleakest stretch of jarvis.

Anyone know what's going on here? It looks like it's still about 90%? Empty and it still has construction fencing around the townhouses at ground level.

Not sure about the status, but the fencing has been removed at ground level
