I've been too busy for the last month or so to keep up with UT as much as I like. Coming back to this thread after a break, it strikes me that we're now very close to The One surpassing 1BE in height. At the rate it's been going, I'd expect to hit that milestone by November.

From my POV, the top of the core is now level with the lower half of 1BE's mechanical penthouse. Maybe by end of the month?

Two shots showing the relative height of The One’s highest point (top of the core) vs 1 Bloor East. The first shot was taken from my condo, the second from around Bay & Yorkville (look at the shadow of The One’s core on 1 Bloor East’s mech penthouse). Both confirm that The One has not quite surpassed its neighbour , maybe 10-15 ft short. It will happen soon though, very soon!
