They are planning 10 million square feet of office space at East Harbour. Major transit better be in place to handle this massive density.

unless the do the bait and switch to a condo development after the city puts in $$ for the transit. (looking into a crystal ball...their excuse will be lack of demand)

Yeah, Sheppard & Yonge is telling on what happens when the city wants something the market doesn't. Either it gets turned into mixed use (mostly condos, bit of shopping, itsy bitsy piece of the wanted office), or the space remains unoccupied for decades.

Looks like we got the Eastern-Queen alignment.

I wonder if the Expo2025 bid motivated this alignment.

Based on the last two slides posted above, looks like the planners are ditching the idea of having just a singe interchange station at city hall.

Good stuff, biggest DRL info surge in a while!

It works both ways -- with and without Expo 2025. Given possible Fed-boosted acceleration, it could conceivably be running by 2025 (even without Expo).

Yup. They told me that because of lots of negative feedback about a City Hall station they went with 2 stations not one. A PATH connection to Nathan Phillips was mentioned.
