The federal government, Toronto, and York Region would be asked to make up the rest of the $28.5 billion."
How is this any different than other transit plans?
I thought the whole point of of this was to move things forward. If they're only contributing about 1/3, then it's still heavily dependent on other levels being on board.
Seems like their funding will go straight to projects appealing to their base (SSE) while the rest will be up for debate.
It's still politics as usual.
