Has anyone figured out how to get the 300mb architectual plans for east harbour to download from the city AIC? No luck with it working so far.

I can't wait to see all these GO stations preparing for the future RER style service to get under construction, especially the Ontario line connections at Exhibition and East Harbour stations since they are such formidable stations. They are the biggest stations built since Our Lady of the Parking Garage Bloomington station.

I didn't watch this thread so I only learned about the consultant conception through Wikipedia. RGB is 126, 77, 199. I personally don't know how you don't call it purple, but looks close to "slate blue"?

Purple-blue is one that people's perception varies significantly.

Also, comparing the two side-by-side, this Line 3 colour (on the left) looks more purple than the slate blue (on the right). Though personally, I see some purple in the slate blue too.

I find these to close to a match and not easily described. Till now if someone said the purple line I would have assumed line 4. Call me crazy but if colour is going to be part of the way finding shouldn't we be able to describe what we are seeing using a well understood simple description. Is Sheppard the maroon line and Ontario Line the people line?

It get's worse when you go back to the colour that TTC was using back in 2018 for Line 8 Jane. Though there's likely decades to change that. :)

Ontario Line - December 2023 Market Update

Elevated Guideway and Stations

Development Phase Agreement Jan – Mar 2024
Contract Execution Jan – Mar 2025

Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations

Development Phase Agreement Jan – Mar 2024
Contract Execution Oct – Dec 2025

My concern is, why is the contract execution for the Paper Tunnel all the way close to 2026!? This will be close to the next Provincial Election and will be very close to the opening in 2030/31. If there are issues than we can expect delays similar to the Eglinton LRT. This contract should be executed in early 2025.

for 1 station and 3km of tunnels should be done in 5 years.
note that long development phase. Thats one way of preventing the eglinton yonge underpinning issues
