Slowly but surely...

Biidaasige Park was the perfect backdrop to a video we filmed towards the end of summer, just released today:

Feel free to remove if this violates any forum rules. Not trying to spam the thread, I just think the park is as much a star of the video as anyone else :)

I’ve been wondering what this “shade structure” on the East side of the park would look like. So, today I did a little digging.

It look’s like the design effort was taken on by Tawaw Architectural Collective.

A nice, and appropriate, addition to the island I think.

I snagged a shot of the progress on my walk this evening.

The concrete lumps are wrapped to guarantee the ultimate cure in this cold weather.

Perhaps cutting it a bit close to the 2025 deadline they’ve outlined on their website, but I imagine the timber will go up quick.

Great job on this! It's a beautiful song.

Reminds me that I was going to share a video I shot at another new park.

That looks sweet. I pray it doesn’t get cheapened

I walked around the area today and I'm still puzzled about how people will get there from Queens Quay over the next few years with all the construction planned. Even the upcoming pedestrian bridge seems to lead to an area of the park that's still not funded or under construction?!
