Anyone around Burlington or this site on June 26, 2018, you can watch the big crane bring down the first tower crane.

The big crane was being put together when I was doing my update shots.

A number of sections of the tower crane have been removed and standing on the ground.

Going be a few days before I have the photos ready for posting on my Flickr site or here.

I saw the big crane when I was on Go Train.

Had a look at the site and it's ready for Phase 2. Phase 2 goes on sell 1st quarter of 2020 for 2 18s towers and a 7s podium between the 2 towers on Fairview St. Construction starts July 2020 and move in July 2023. Will have the similar look as the ones built.

Those who live in the current 2 end towers on the south side are going to be piss as their nice view will be partly block be these 2 new towers.

Photos to follow and no idea when.

Anyone been by here lately?!

We are looking for information on projects out in the suburbs that don't get anywhere near the amount of attention that the more central projects do. You'll see more threads from the 905 bumped as we hope to trigger members who live in those areas to update them!
It’s fully complete if that’s what you are wondering. No photos though.
There will also be phase 2 here, so while phase 1 is done, this thread isn't!!

Looks like they have defer the last 2 towers since the sales office is being used for the Illumina Condos at 490-492 Brock Ave. Guess we will know in the spring of 2020 if those 2 towers are getting built.

OH!!! I done live in the area nor do work out that way.

Not much change since I shot the site in the summer, other than there is a ramp from the site to the GO Station at the east end. Tim has open in the GO Station and Burlington Transit has relocated to the new bus terminal on the south side.
More up on site

*okay, figuratively, figuratively!

I feel bad for these developers. They were just about to file their site plan application for the second phase nearly 2 years ago from my understanding, then the ICBL came in place. They have a zoning approved development that they can’t build because a NIMBY city council refused to issue them an exemption. It honestly just shows how anti development this council is.. this is zoning approved, there is no reason to hold up the spa application.. just spiting to spite.
