Here is a screenshot I took of Google Earth's aerial view from April 2024:

Based on how the Square One Drive extension will align with Via Russo Court (the first cul-de-sac branching from Elora Drive), I think they are going to extend it to Rathburn Road in a second phase.

Shot everything today, but will be a month or so the shots are on line due to the huge backlog of photos in front of me. Still working on Sept 8 shot.

Square One Dr as well the other 2 roads are fully open to the public now and can get close up shots of what you want for both sites.

bike lanes are at curb area in the sidewalk paved for both sides of Square One Dr.

That reminds me, I took some pics at the Square One Drive extension a while ago. Let me dig them up...

Pictures were taken Oct 5.

I remember the thing that struck me was the island on Confederation Pkwy separating the previous sections of Square One Drive from the new. Not sure if it’ll be removed or stay as is. That is what the first and final pictures are showing btw, from different directions.

From yesterday; the Food Basics store is going at the corner of Confederation Parkway and Parkside Village Drive closest to the camera:

Move-ins have started at the shorter tower, while drywall installation and balcony painting continue on the upper levels at the taller tower.

Good to finally have a proper supermarket in MCC other than Walmart in Square One.

I prefer Walmart over Food Basics for groceries. The selection is very similar, but some items are cheaper.

I'm so glad more grocery options are coming to the area. Even that Town and Country has tempted me for groceries over the years, and that place will ask for your liver for some things!

The NO Frills Store is replacing the the original grocery store in the plaza at Central Pkwy and will open this month consider it was to open in November. The next grocery store that could go into the area is Freshco, Farm Boy or Sobeys

All 3 roads are now open for this site as well the VOYE

Noticed yesterday that they have build a driveway off the Square One Dr extension for the condos to the north that is saying stop lights will be going end once they rebuilt Confederation Intersection as well complete the rest of the extension to Rathburn
