^ this is exhibit A for a city-wide ban on back-painted spandrel glass (or whatever this is) in favour of aluminum panels with character and/or colour.
If it has to be opaque... there's a million options.
If you’re determined to use “perforated” aluminum for some reason (like a blank wall or balcony guards)… don’t just punch a bunch of holes in it… add some visual interest.
There were very high winds, of course; but it's not as if this was not known early yesterday, with the issuing of a special weather statement for the GTA.
It goes w/o saying that items on a construction site, small and large should be properly secured, at almost all times (excepting when literally mid-install).
But extra caution is required when high winds are predicted. This sort of mishap can kill someone.
