No, but then again Toronto is one of few big cities in North America that hasn't addressed the matter as a whole....I'm guessing it would cost billions and billions of dollars to eliminate all overhead wires

Every year they delay doing it the more expensive it will get.

Until 2530 when humankind completely replaces wires and makes everything wireless.

Rob Ford was elected to cut down on "gravy," though the money spent on his criminal investigation, lawyers, etc. is likely multiples of what he actually managed to save tax payers. Don't tell his supporters though :)

I was trying to get a pano from the roof but it was closed early for Christmas. I should be able to get one of the whole area early in the new year. You can see what seems like 20 cranes in one view!
