Today. Interesting to watch the excavator operator change from one type of shovel to another in order to break the rock. You could tell that the metal grinding against the rock created a lot of heat.

That land is owned by the City, AFAIK. The extension of the PATH to Pinnacle One Yonge is planned to pass over that space from CIBC Square, running north of 18 Yonge before turning south and running under the Gardiner similar to how the bridge from the Scotiabank Arena to One York does it.

City maps don't suggest otherwise, there's no drawn parcel and I would presume it's just part of the city landbase for the Gardiner itself.
