Phase 3: despite having the dreaded "balcony" element (at least they are flush), I'm almost liking phase 3 as much as SkyTower. As seen in the view of the lake pic posted earlier and the HP elevation below, there's something very elegant about its form... particularly the all-curtainwall elevations on the upper floors and crown.

Good to see the inner hoarding around phase 1 being dismantled.

Also, I spy another shoring rig drive shaft. Looks like we might be getting a second rig soon.

Well I was not looking for curtain wall but it looks like it is. Did 8 bldgs with curtain wall but only glass, never with a conc panel. I’ll take a few more pics in weeks coming. Surprised curtain wall started so early in the schedule, perhaps for winter protection from the elements? Smart move if you think of it. Let’s see what October and November bring.

I've become increasingly excited for the SkyTower as the newer renders have released. I hope the gold/bronze accents are bold and prominent from a distance.

Not too sure what to make of the colour of the glass. The more recent renders make it look darker in colour, but the older renders show more Toronto-typical blue glass. Hopefully they've indeed gone ahead with the darker glass.

^ The pic I posted earlier says to me the curtainwall will be a blue hue but that pic (and other renders) also seem to hint at a lot of transparency... sort of like tint/vision glass. Not sure if that's artistic license in play. The gold/bronze accents can be seen in that recent render (and others) so betting we'll see them.

Keen to get a closer look at that cladding on the north and west sides of the tower, respectively. Looks decent from afar...so far.

I feel like phase one has been relatively overlooked due to the height of the towers to come later.

Even this first building is exciting however. It's as tall as anything else along the waterfront and will have a massive impact on the skyline.
