I literally ask myself this question every day on this forum, but I still drop a Like. I have no idea why I'm so obsessed with looking at construction sites with no industry knowledge.
I have the habit of asking silly questions of what I don't know, likely to the annoyance of a few members here. In the end though, when I do get the answers, I feel much more enlightened about what's going on as a whole. So never be afraid to ask. :)

I mean, it took the Phase 1 tower from Oct 2018 to July 2019 to go from crane erected to reaching at-grade. That's 9 months for The One to complete the majority of the complicated pours and move onto the more repeatable floorplans. I'd wager The One reaches 100 metres by the time One Yonge gets to at-grade.

Though, it would've been fun if the competition was a lot closer! 2 supertalls rising in Toronto at the same time, who would've thought!

Looks like the crane base has been poured. Depending on the size of the crane it could be erected in a day or two with a full crew. Sometime they wait weeks to let the concrete cure in the base though
