Looks like we will have another crane lift in the next two or three weeks.
Afterthought: given that they usually add about 10 stories worth of crane each time I wonder if we will see the crane taller than prestige before the year is done

That is NOT what I said. In my opinion the populist but VERY stupid move by Doug Ford to remove bike lanes is to keep everyone busy and worked up and thus not have time /energy to spend looking at why FAR more serious problems remain - problems which REALLY are things a Provincial government should be working on. (Examples are homelessness, healthcare and general government 'corruption' as evidenced by the Greenbelt scandal.)

I genuinely think this gives Doug too much credit.

Having the consciousness to create a distraction is an admission that other problems need distracting from (examples above). I don't think he has the capacity to understand the magnitude of the problems this province faces, let alone his responsibility in fixing them, or the best way to fix them. It makes sense to me that Doug believes he's doing his best, but that he's just an abject moron.
 
I get that someone dropped a 105 story strawman onto the comments first thing this morning...

...but can we least get back to the tower here? Lots of other places in the forum where we can bash Doug and other government failings. Thnkx! <3
