Although it's technically a mixed-use building, not purely residential (Le Meridien occupying the lower part of the tower)

I would still laugh if pinnacle came out and did a redesign of the third Tower and made it taller I think that they are probably the most efficient builder I've seen so far but everything I see is from afar as I live up north //thanks everyone for the pictures

It is around 230m now I am guessing? I swear when we moved into our new office at Scotiabank Plaza last October, Sky Tower was around 70 - 90m? It raised over 100m within 6 months - through the winter season! I swear it will go over 300 m by the end of this summer.

Crazy thing is... the One is estimated to be topping out some time during the Fall... I know people have been saying it is impossible for Sky Tower to hit supertall status first - all I am saying is that it is actually closer than it looks between the two towers in racing to 300m.

The One tops out at 308m, and it is basically the whole crown, with the pendulum... If the mechanical floor is any indication, that crown will take a while. We will see, but the speed that SkyTower is going feels like they are racing the One.

I think we can safely say when The One is ready to be occupied it will no longer be the tallest.

My bet is that this will only allow the one to hold the title of tallest building for a month maximum we are already nearly at 70 floors and growing fast by this summer this building will be a super tall
