"Occupancy is scheduled for the spring of 2020". So working backwards, what's the likely project start date? Early 2018?

At the end of Sept I was told they were 90% sold. If that is truly the case the project should be starting soon.

According to the developer's site they are starting demolition this summer:

Despite no paid advertising and no sales office, Platform Condos is nearly sold out. Baker Realty ran the sales program for the mid-rise project, and demand was so high for new product on the Danforth, there was no need to run a marketing campaign. Demolition of on-site structures should start in the summer of 2018 and construction will get underway in the fall.

There is a sign on the beer store that mentions they are closing March 18th. Looks like everything is on track for demolition in the summer.

Platform Condos is now sold out with Baker Realty running a successful sales campaign for the mid-rise project. A demolition permit has been received and demolition will be commencing in early Q2-2018. Shoring and excavation are also anticipated to commence Q2-2018.

As of Tuesday May 8, 2018 – demolition is all but complete, looks like shoring is about to begin (there is a pile driver on site).

As of Jun 29th, they've moved around a lot of dirt on this site, made some nice dirt piles, put in some pilings around the perimeter, and dug this hole. Wouldn't say things are moving swiftly.

According to https://condonow.com/Platform-Condos they decreased the suite size from 958 - 1228 sq ft to 645 - 1228 sq ft which, I'm assuming, lowered the average square foot cost from $855 to $806 (pretty big drop if you ask me for a building that is "sold out").

According to the builder's site it is 2 levels (65 parking spots):

65 vehicular parking spaces, 115 bicycle parking spaces, and two levels of below-grade parking.

However it does look too shallow for 2 levels. I'm assuming they are going deeper unless the equipment has already been removed?
