If we can get the people that design the hoarding in this city to start designing the buildings it would be a much more colorful/better looking city...how is it that the hoarding people have figured out that color can be attractive but somehow the architects insist on on trying to color coordinate with the dirty paved roads

....I often see the bright green insulation going up on these buildings and hope that some developer eventually notices that it looks so much better than the cladding that they're putting up on top of it

Most developers seem to be convinced that spending anything extra on colour or textures with out-of-the-ordinary cladding is not going to be worth their while, no extra returns for them, so most forego giving it a second thought.
