This really is such a 'blah' building - better than being 'in your face ugly' but it COULD have been SO much better - with very little more effort.
I think Daniels Waterfront got away with murder in comparison to this...and those two uggos are way tallerThis really is such a 'blah' building - better than being 'in your face ugly' but it COULD have been SO much better - with very little more effort.
Agreed, the Daniels towers are ghastly and far worse than this blah 'thing'.I think Daniels Waterfront got away with murder in comparison to this...and those two uggos are way taller
Thats why I dont mind this development...even though this could be far better. I give this a pass only because its smaller and less ugly.Agreed, the Daniels towers are ghastly and far worse than this blah 'thing'.
Define 'fine'. To my eye this is a VERY forgettable building that is, thankfully, not terrible large and (except for the mechanicals) not visible from my living room window!Surprisingly, this is working out fine largely because of the symmetrical window pattern. For some reason architects in this city love to make busy, asymmetrical designs that, when coupled with crappy materials, just look horrible (YC condos for example being my most hated). If you have a clean design the materials don't have to be as high quality to look pleasing
way less offensive...plus time+space looms over its neighbourhood like this...it's less offensive than Time and Space, I'll give it that.
