One park place still my fave project in Regent Park inside and out.
I really think the area bounded by Parliament st, Wellesley St, Jarvis st and Dundas should all be transformed into something like regent park.

Given our housing crisis, it is pretty insane we are just allowing that prime real estate to remain relatively low-density.One could only hope.
I agree. It should at the least be mid-rise. They should NOT be building townhouses on land so close to the city core. And yes, given the scale of crisis they should be altering their current plans. It seems a no-brainer.Given our housing crisis, it is pretty insane we are just allowing that prime real estate to remain relatively low-density.
Depends if you are asking about the TCHC tenants or the condo purchasers.Biog fan of the building. Curious to know what Regent Park is like these days for those that live there?

Good to know, thanks for sharing. I've definitely noticed a lot of developments in the area.We love the burgeoning neighbourhood for many reasons. Yes it’s a bit more affordable mortgage/rent-wise, but also exciting to see almost daily changes with the continued creation of an entire new neighbourhood. There’s a vitality that’s palpable with the athletic grounds abuzz with activity (see attached photo taken on a recent evening), plus weekly movie nights in the park, and the prospect of new retail/restaurants opening. Went to the new Vicino in The Sumach last week and it was terrific. Also check out next image: nice for residents to have a say on who develops RP further.
