Jan 31. Had a look at the cladding at the base of the south wall. Looks like granite perhaps?

That's precast?? Please, someone give the manufacturer's number to other developers. I would't mind precast one bit if it all looked like this!
 
Pleasant surprise on the north side. The playful arrangement of spandrel creates engaging visual interest and is a step above the typical treatment on blank walls. Application of the black window mullions is also an improvement over the grey that we've become so accustomed to seeing lately.
 
Starting to dig this one a lot...

Doesn't look blue enough for slate.
 
This is a great example of an otherwise unexceptional tower having just the right proportions and materials to not only match, but enhance its surroundings. When this one's completed, a rather dreary stretch of University will have a little added drama and flair to it.
