The PM is in the building. These are the people in the offices plastered up against the atrium windows to get a peek!

The agency said the winning bidder must propose plans to foster sustainability, resiliency and urban innovation; complete communities with a range of housing types for families of all sizes and income levels; economic development and prosperity driving innovation that will be rolled out to the rest of the world; and partnership and investment ensuring a solid financial foundation that secures revenue and manages financial risk.

Is this ripped from the press release? I don't understand a single word in this paragraph.

That is basically a Disney-style Utilidor. Very cool stuff.
A bit more detail from the RFP submission:
Waste and water. Sidewalk sees a similar opportunity for district-scale solutions for both solid waste and water. While the Quayside Draft Vision Document has identified a vacuum system as a promising solution, Sidewalk sees even greater benefit in using industrial robots to move solid waste to a central point through utility channels. By putting waste into standardized containers that robots can move, neighbourhoods can adhere to the current three-bin approach (organics, recyclables, and landfill) while accommodating any change in the sorting regime. In Quayside, an anaerobic digester at the central point will consume the neighbourhood’s organic waste, while landfill and recyclables will likely be shipped offsite. At the scale of the Eastern Waterfront, Sidewalk will seek an onsite material recovery facility for the remainder.

Oh look, the gondola make an appearance!

Sounds like a possible use for the Victory Soya Mills silos.

On another note - Town Hall on November 1st.

That may have been some artistic licence on the part of the illustrator, as I haven't yet found any mention of it in the transportation section of the RFP. Though it does mention extending the 514 and 501 (?) into Quayside, plus heated sidewalks, retractable canopies for weather protection, and self-driving cars, of course.

Don't forget LRTs that don't need overhead wires... (catenary-less power technology)
