The problem here is Pemberton, who really could not give a hot damn what their project looks like clearly. This is literally picking from bargain basement materials and slapping it on.

The fact that they went with a zig-zagged floor design and then cheaped out with horrid cladding is just mystifying.
It's not so mystifying when it's likely done to pad their bottom line...while at the same time hinting sophistry because they went with "irregular" floor plates. /sigh

Gotta disagree.

That reddish tower (that's missing pieces near the top) doesn't remotely match the rest of the buildings at all.
You're calling Scotia Plaza ugly? Sure, it doesn't match the rest of the buildings, but that's because it's classier than (most of) them.
