I think the Delta Toronto has stayed truer to its renderings in just about every way than any other TO development... materials, colours, proportions, etc.

This is what happens when you take condo residences out of the picture in designing a building. I keep thinking to myself "Wait, Page+Steele?????" Perfect massing imo and a great bookend to the chunkier office towers to the east.

It's not that simple, though. It's largely about your client (the developer) and their expectations/budget, as well as the team within IBI Group who would have been responsible.

BTW, did KPMB help work on the Delta Toronto or were they responsible for just the office buildings?
