Hi,

Just out of curiosity, is there a height restriction here (where the Quartz and Spectra towers will be)? Could Concord have gone higher for these two (say at 50+ stories)? I am fairly certain they would have still sold out these two projects....Thanks!

I am all for height where it's due, and for what design !!!!! Based on what Concord has put up all over city Place so far, I wouldn't be crazy for height increase for the rest of their crap..... Hopefully someone will design something compensating that could be seen overshadowing those city place appartment slabs in the near future ..... and I am not even sure if there are any more lands left for that wishful thinking ....

There is still their 'signature' building site where the current sales centre is located. It will be a rather tall and dominant building as their final project here. I'm pretty sure that they ran an competition for architects, although I don't believe we have any other details.

This was a design that didn't win - the tower is rumoured to be +/- 70 storeys from what I remember

Well CP does have buildings with colourful lighting used as their art component...so it's quite possible.

I think architectsAlliance won the bid for the two tower design. I posted a render of their design on of signature tower thread awhile back.

It looked aAmazing I think they'd be smarter if they launched their Signature Tower within the next 18 months, and put Lumen on hold for 4 years.

(Lumen needs to be redesigned--Bathurst needs more masonry & brick streetwall; less tedious spandrel & glass.)

compared to its previous renders this things disgusting. I have been a fan of just about every project in and around Toronto. but this is so ugly. of course just my oppinion. hopefully not just me. reject! reject!

I know, still not to late to make some changes to that colored tacky strip of random colors going up the sides. Just A horrible choice of colors together. That, and this building just mimics Pinnicle adilade dosent it?

Why would Concord Adex put up a horrible building to block the view of their best building in my opinion at the city place (Luna)?
