definitely cool! and it'll be seen from miles away (I remember a few months ago being able to clearly see the light sabre from Yorkdale)
Although the lighting shooting up and down the tower might be a little awkward in contrast to the CN tower's lighting on the skyline. may be a little distracting if both are going at the same time. but still cool, whether the entire thing is illuminated or they have a pattern going

Found this vid on Trump. I honestly don't know if this is a residential unit or a hotel suite (i'm guessing it's a hotel suite, but probably not the presidential one since i saw an entire corridor, and, as i recall, the presidential suite occupies an entire floor. so it's probably one of the higher end suites)

I noticed last night TRUMP was lighted up, but the camera was choking on it. Going in on Thursday for fixing.
The LED is still not working and need to turn it off as the only section working is around the 8th floor.
Its the same as it was in June before going to Europe and was expecting to see it working in September when I came home, but not to be.
Haven't seen any changes in the mast from one colour if that than the night I caught it doing the changes on video early 2012.
Still looks unfinished.

Yes. That is a hotel suite. On the 30th floor
It's on the same floor as the presidential suite.

i see... I was under the impression that the presidential suite occupied an entire floor for some reason lol...
Any photos/videos of any residential units yet up in the tower?
The Presidential Suite is the entire south side of the 30th floor - about 2/5ths the size of the whole floor IIRC.

Not sure if everyone had already seen this or not, but here's a link to CTBUH's Top 20 tallest buildings completed in 2012. Trump Toronto is at #15 and was the tallest building completed in North America in 2012!

Utter nonsense. The building is not "completed". It still says "Trum" on the top, there's still scaffolding up, there's still windows missing, the entire top half is totally dark at night, no light feature, etc, etc. What a crock of SH**. Is this really how the tower will look for the rest of it's existence?

"Completed" doesn't encompass a sign on the top. The building was structurally complete and inhabited as of 2012. Your response to trumptoronto was way over the top and uncalled for.
