Found this on youtube, Toronto's reaction in a nutshell:
The 'hype' and hysteria is real... yes, we are still waiting for it to fall.

So, essentially, this building is so crappy that they need to close the intersection of Bay and Adelaide every time there is a windstorm?

Here's some more detail:

TORONTO — Police are investigating what appears to be a cracked window in the Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto and have closed down a major downtown intersection.

Police say they have blocked off the area around Bay Street and Adelaide Street West as a precaution.

Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook says rainy weather will prevent authorities from properly assessing the damage and risk for days and the area could remain closed until Friday.

A large swath of the city’s financial district was closed for nearly two days in August due to an unstable antenna at the top of the building.
Police eventually said the antenna had been inspected and deemed safe.

This is absurd....we have many other large towers many of them older, and we never hear of something like this happening! Cheep Chinese glass, it's not good for cars or homes and certainly not for tall buildings!
