*Edit: Please note that the above images are intended to be preliminary perspectives for massing purposes. We can expect proper renderings as the proponent further refines the design
Please no more geometric cow splotch glazed balconies a-A... >.<

I have to say I like the new design better than the old. However the most glaring problem to me is how do the kids going to the school along Lake Shore get to the park and a like on Queens Quay St?
From a logistics point of view they were far more better having the school and community center on the southside and keeping the condos to the North.

Saturday morning
The toboggan hill doesn’t look so tall from the ground. I guess they are digging a trench on the north side of this road and back filling with the new dirt. Sorry kids.

From the looks of the renders it seems that the recess areas gonna be on the roof of the school.

What makes the timing of all this even more weird is that Freeland St is supposed to be undergoing watermain replacement next year. I really dont get the timing with all of this...

The cut section of road looks like it will trace the path between some old catch basins.

There used to be a parking lot ahead of where they’re cutting, this is most likely removal or modification of unused stormwater piping that runs under the park.
