Hmmmm did the horizontal mullions get axed here? Seems kind of critical to me - a little worried this will end up looking a bit medical office chic without the warehouse style windows. That and the diagonal cross bracing looks like it’s been moved from the exterior of the building to the interior so it won’t be as noticeable.

Good catch, and I very much concur w/your take!
 
Based on that render, one could argue they were never part of the exterior, as if you look close, it’s a little vague, but agreed, this would be a disagreeable development.
 
What a brutal VE bait and switch. Huge thumbs down.

Sad, as this had potential to beautifully compliment Tower Automotive if they had just stuck to the old industrial style windows, even without the cross bracing.
 
It's probably more expensive cladding to have all those small panes of glass and definitely less energy efficient. If the intention was for the mullions to be fake add-ons to large panes of glass then it was definitely cheaper for them to get rid of them and it helps reduce cleaning costs too.
