I took these pictures sometime last year... They were filming a 911 movie at the TD Center, by the York & Wellington section. It was quite eerie. I also took some video of their filming the crowd mayhem sequences, which you can watch by clicking on the last link (If the Video doesnt play automatically, it's the very first file at Photobucket)

This shot in Toronto as "The Untitled History Project" last summer, but is now called "The Path To 9/11" and will air on ABC this September as a two-part miniseries.

The Hearn Generating Station and the McLean-Hunter Building were also used extensively in shooting this miniseries.

We all hope this is the closest Toronto comes to the horrors of 9/11.

Yes, it's for an ABC miniseries, not the Oliver Stone movie.

It's being aired on September 10th and 11th at 8 on ABC if you want to see it. I took these in Hearn during the shooting of the movie. I found some of the production notes (photos of those too) which were talking about the '93 bombing, so I assume this scene (parking garage from the bombing) will be aired the first night.

Interesting to watch the production, hopefully the mini-series or film will be a good one.

The ABC television network is using the fifth anniversary of 9/11 as an opportunity to rewrite history. On September 10 and 11, ABC/Disney will broadcast "The Path to 9/11", a 6-hour, two-part "docudrama" written and produced by conservative filmmakers who place a lion’s share of the blame for the 9/11 terrorist attacks on alleged failures of the Clinton administration
