Concourse maps from the app:

How was your overall experience last night? I've been dying to get in there , hopefully sometime in the new year!

I just wrote out two paragraphs, and everything I was writing was highlighting more of a negative overall experience, so I decided to delete it. I think I'll let everyone form their own opinion as they check it out.

My thoughts on the concourse layout:

If you’re in the upper bowl or in the lower bowl sections 118-104, your food options are… terrible. I’m kind of suprised they didn’t make a small tunnel to connect the two ends of the street level concourse. It must suck if you’re at the end of it and having to haul all the way around to get something you like.

It looks like there are ton of washrooms, but how big they can’t be judged based on the map.

I imagine the upper concourse (old main concourse) is a bit less crowded, but I imagine lots of people will stroll to the other concourse for eats.

I’m also shocked how a majority of the “premium” spaces are on the upper bowl, where the cheap seats tend to be (except for the suite entrances).

Having attended the Andrea Bocelli concert on Tuesday night, I can say with some delight that the sound system was spectacular. Perhaps it was the music genre , but wow crystal clear and full.

I am sure there will be some tweaks , signage , wayfinding, along with staff training (no one could point me in the right direction of the Iron Cow) - the map in this thread could have come in handy!

Yeah, I am not sure why they didn't put more concessions on the upper concourse. I guess maybe the various clubs took up too much room.

I think people in sections 104 to 118 have to go up to the upper concourse and then down from there to the street level concourse for the main food options... although that is probably no different from the people in the upper bowl who have to go down to the upper concourse and then down to the street level for the same.

A wraparound concourse on street level would have been nice.

I don't think those premium spaces are actually in the upper part of the bowl, but rather at upper concourse level and/or top of the lower bowl, which I think is fine and pretty standard. Plus I think most of the premium space is on the lower/event level.

Oh, nice!

I am looking forward to seeing some pics of a sporting event. So far with all the concert pics, the place looks crazy dark and dreary. I want to see some pics with full lighting system on.

You can get an idea with the opening part of this clip.

It looks bright enough to me, and definitely not dreary. It seems that they're running with less lighting even before the concert starts while people are getting to their seats to try and set the mood.

The black seats make it look a bit darker, but it doesn't look much different mood-wise than PPG Paints Arena (Penguins) - who also has black seats.
