Sorry if it's already been discussed and I missed it but...

When can we expect Union Square to open?

After all, they are already doing the pavings... then again I don't know how much work has been done on the inside of the Union Station/PATH entrance although they've seemed to be working on it forever now.

Couldn't get the frame to slide in and finally had to remove it after some doing.

I love the project's proximity to the existing CBD landmarks-- TD Centre, Royal York... etc. It's a shocking view and I am glad it won't be lost any time soon. Great juxtaposition.

As for the pics-- awesome. I am glad to see ground level pics. of the Union Square area after the endlesss identical skyline shots. Ground level-- especially in this new part of the CBD/central downtown core-- is what counts.

Is it just me or do the doors for the South Union station entrance look really small? I would have thought they would build many sets of doors instead of just one, as I would think there are many people in this new neighbourhood that would be using this new entrance.

Union Station can also be accessed through the Air Canada Centre though... maybe that's why.

But the doors on the new Union entrance at Union Square better not be annoying doors, but ones that are not awkward to open. Pedestrian flow will be very important here.
