Walked through The Bentway to places east but got some images of installations for summer. Taken 26 May.

^This last image has me confused. The sign is for the light installation ‘Pulse Topologhy’ in 2021 by Raphael Lozano-Hemmer. This eastern section of The Bentway is being prepared for something but not able to find out what. I do know that Lozano-Hemmer is doing something at Sherbourne Common but are they remounting this work?

OMG! A mirrored dirigible! I am so there! 😀

The Bentway has announced its Nuit Blanche installations and Sky Mirage has the sci-fi kid in me all excited. Hopefully we will see this in more places. And this has me thinking that this piece would be great inside The Hearn! 🤔🎈

More detailed info here and maybe a correction as Brook McIlroy is listed as local firm.

Details to be provided in 2025. Exciting!

The space underneath would feel a lot less oppressive if they are adopting the new, low profile beams used in the redo at the Ex stretch - and that can go really well with this upcoming project.

Good idea. Good look.. Good philanthropy for the public realm. But the city & Bentway people must understand they need to re-paint everything under the expressway-viaduct columns too-or the view looks kinda shabby. Incomplete. Refresh w paint!! Still some sections looking rough.

I was around here today and I wondered if the design brief would consider the space above the Gardiner as suitable for use as they are already extending up the hill to the park? It is almost as if Copeland was suggesting that 20 years ago with the path leading to the canoe; just keep going!
