Had the aluminum coloured spandrel been black to match the black windows then it would have looked even better. Despite that, I still like this project.

The proportions are a bit clumsy and heavy-handed, and the dark-tinted glazing at ground level is a real head-scratcher.

Rexall has switched out the black-tinted ground floor panes for clear glass, and added an entrance under the awning at the corner.

Rexall has replaced the tinted glass with regular glass and reconfigure the door locations.

It looks more functional than the original.

Glad to hear, that dark glass would be a destroyer of foot traffic. Isn't the Tim Horton's going in next door to it? Will they change their glass to match, I wonder?

No sign of it on the Church Street side. The other businesses on church street all have the tinted windows.

It looks like they are getting to tiling the floor at Tim's. If they decide to change the windows, they have to do it soon.

I'd guess they will keep them tinted so all the businesses on the Church St side look the same. Rexall will mainly face Front St.

I don't believe the glass was changed, it just looks different since the interior is lit. The glass looks the same as the businesses down Church street when lit-up. Can someone confirm the glass was actually replaced? Maybe I'm wrong!

You are wrong, I saw them putting in new glass last week.

PharmaPlus is getting ready for opening. The windows have indeed been changed to clear glass.

They are still a few weeks ago. The millwork is just getting done. It is a Rexall and not a PharmaPlus.
The clear windows are a problem for me as the Church street side should also change in my opinion. Looks weird when you walk around the corner.

Very nice development. They should be on the very good Builder list.
