Me too, I went to school next door when I was in high school at Spectrum (odd school name, but good teachers). It's like part of the expected landscape has been taken away.

I went to high school at Northern just down the street. Once in a while I'd get lunch at the Quizno's that used to be in the building. The manager really hated high school kids in there, especially since everyone got gratuitous free re-fills from the soda machine, which sent him miles over the edge on pretty much a daily basis. The kids used to call him the "sub nazi." Anyway, I know this is all a huge tangent, but it's funny how those things come back to you once the physical place is gone... May the on-street retail of this new condo make a positive impact on Eglinton.
