When is the starting date for this development. It seems that developments in east downtown take forever to start.

The developer's website suggests that they haven't started sales (unless I am misreading it). So, construction will likely not be starting any time soon.
This one's off to the OMB for its rezoning application. This developer may want to wait to have approvals in place before selling. Some do, occasionally.

LPAT allowed the appeal in part, so this one is approved with some conditions attached:

Those are all technicalities, i's to dot, t's to cross. Essentially this is going forward as a 7-storey building.

They kept the general design motif but presented it in a gradually more refined way. A bit on the bland side, although still a reasonably good addition for the area.

I am phoning the render police for that complete change-out of the streetlighting regime on both Gerrard and Seaton.

One sore point, where the render is accurate, the landscape plan shows zero trees on the Gerrard frontage. That's unfortuate

Are those trailer things there as the Beer Store starts to pack up remaining inventory or is it for something else?

That would be my guess. The trailers say "Mobile Store" on them and people going into the main building are being directed back to the trailers.
