UPDATE on Sidewalks and trees. They have now stopped putting down bricks and have filled in the area between concrete sidewalk and road with asphalt. This could mean that the City has forced them to stop and re-do things so that they can plant trees or they realised they had screwed up or it could mean they think asphalt looks better. I guess we will see! The SLNA, the BIA and Pam McConnell's office certainly expressed their annoyance about the senseless tree destruction.

Here's how the trees looked one year ago (June 13, 2016):

The signage somewhat detracts from the architecture by shifting the focus from the distinctive geometric volumes towards the middle of the building to the unrelated text and graphic logos at the top.

Great photo. These sort of developments are fantastic, hoping to see more of this scale in the future.

It’s a fantastic building but I wish they made the lobby warmer. It’s a blank and sterile canyon. Needs some colour and artwork of some kind. Hope the building adds some soon.

Have they put up the archaeological feature wall in the lobby yet?
